The entire ground-level installation and assembly are carried out on-site. The structural components and motors are sourced from Switzerland and other European and local companies. Mirrors and other components are manufactured for us in China and other countries. For large-scale systems, we will perform part of the steelwork on-site.
Maintenance costs are extremely low, as the system is virtually maintenance-free. The only requirements are regular cleaning of the mirrors and regular lubrication of the moving parts.
Two control systems have been implemented. The first is located directly on-site. Almost all parameters can be adjusted here. In addition, the system features a remote maintenance system that allows Aelios to perform remote maintenance and install software updates.
It is expected to have a minimum service life of 25 years. Since all parts can be replaced and the majority of the costs are associated with the structural framework, this service life can easily be extended.
